Skin Needling
Skin needling or collagen induction therapy is a very popular treatment at Jupiter Cosmetics. This treatment is utilised as a preventative dermal therapy and can also be used to promote collagen and improve skin texture. Skin needling involves the use of a microneedling device that penetrates the skin or area of concern. This micro injury causes a healing cascade, inducing the production of collagen to promote a firmer, healthy looking skin. Within our clinics we also have SecretRF - a skin needling device with the additional benefit of Radiofrequency, promoting thermal skin tightening with this technology.

Treatment indications for Skin Needling;
• Collagen induction
• Loose and dull skin
• Fine lines

This treatment will generally take 30 minutes to an hour to complete with optimal results following a series of 3 treatments 4 weeks apart for general skin rejuvenation, some indications will require more intensive treatments. Results vary between individuals and maintenance sessions may be required.
There is minimal downtime with this treatment with most clients having mild redness for 24-48 hours post treatment.
Aftercare includes;
• No excessive exercise for 24-48hours
• No makeup application for minimum 24 hours
• No active ingredients for 24-48hours.
• No excessive heat for 24 hours.

• Redness
• Pain
Rare side effects can include;
